This is the pictorial evidence of the progress of work at the construction site of the first-ever divisional police headquarters in Emohua; the headquarters of Emohua local government area since the creation of the local government area in 1991.
The building which is already nearing completion is situated opposite the Emohua campus of the Rivers State University along Emohua-Kalabari road in Emohua LGA, Rivers State.
Recall that the immediate past Governor of Rivers State, H.E Nyesom Ezenwo Wike had during the commissioning of the Emohua campus of the Rivers State University, directed the chairman of Emohua LGA to support the state government with the construction of a police station opposite the university campus, to provide security for students and staff of the university.
Dr. Lloyd in compliance with the state government’s directive, went a step further in his wisdom to conceptualize a storey building to serve as the divisional police headquarters in the local government headquarters.
